Don't walk through an occupied camp site, even if the camper is not there.

Minimize noise around your campfire at night. Voices, music and other noise go further than you think on a quiet summer night. People close by may be resting.

Be thoughtful when using a radio. Your neighbours will prefer their own music.

Leave your site tidy, no garbage, and remember, a fire pit is not a trash can.

Keep your pet on a leash and don't leave it unattended. A dog may bark at strangers, dig holes and annoy your fellow campers. Remember, poop and scoop!

Leave firewood at home; it can bring insects and disease to campground trees. Campgrounds sell locally sourced firewood, so no need to cut living or dead trees.

Fully extinguish your campfire before going to bed or leaving your site. Smoke from a smouldering fire can be overwhelming.

Say "hello" and introduce yourself to your campsite neighbours. Knowing your neighbour helps with security when you are away from your site and makes them less likely to complain about you.

Don't wash dishes under the water tap. Use a bowl on your site and dispose of the gray water thoughtfully. (Our kitchen sink outside the washrooms has hot water).

No “inside” furniture used outside. Use only items designed for outside use.

Everyone likes a clean washroom and other facilities, so do your share and don't leave a mess. If you see a problem, let the campground staff know.

If you must arrive late or leave early, be as quiet as you can and keep lights to a minimum so as not to disturb your neighbors who may be sleeping.
